ABOUT THE WINES

Night Watch Wines makes its home at the beautiful Foxley Estate Vineyard on the shores of the mighty Columbia River in the heart of the Columbia Gorge AVA. We are sustainably farming 16 acres of wine grapes planted there in June 2018.

We are a bonded winery (Alternating Proprietor) licensed in the state of Washington currently sharing facilities with our friends Susan and Tom Garrison at the nearby Steppe Cellars winery in Sunnyside, Washington. Our first wine collaborations are shown below.

2010 Night Watch Red Blend

Our flagship red blend, this red wine was carefully crafted in the style of Bordeaux using Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot grapes from the famed Columbia Valley and aged in French and American oak barrels for 22 months. Enjoy the intense berry aromas complemented by hints of coffee and herbs, leading to a finish of chocolate and cassis.

2011 Night Watch Red Blend

The 2011 version of this same wine delivers bright aromas of ripe cherry and blackberry complemented by hints of coffee beans, cloves, and nutmeg. The blend uses the same grapes from the Night Watch 2010 version just with slightly different percentages.

2011 Night Watch Free and Wild Red Blend

This Spanish-style red blend delivers rich aromas of roasted coffee, nutmeg, and black pepper with hints of plum and cherry. This wine was produced from Tempranillo, Grenache, and Mourvedre grapes exclusively from the Stone Tree Vineyard located in the Wahluke Slope AVA and aged for 22 months in French oak barrels before bottling.

2011 Night Watch Man O'War Red Blend

Embark on an exciting journey while enjoying this fine wine with intense blackberry and ripe cherry aromas and a long finish of lingering chocolate. This red blend was carefully crafted in the style of Bordeaux using Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot grapes from the famed Columbia Valley.

2012 Night Watch Wings of Gold Riesling

This delightful dry Riesling was carefully crafted with grapes from the Dalkeith Farm located in the Rattlesnake AVA in the greater Columbia Valley. Enjoy the bright aromas of green apple, lime, pear, and vanilla custard leading to a delicate mouthfeel with mineral notes, lemon zest, and crisp acidity.

2013 Hunter's Moon Red Blend

Aged in select barrels for almost two years, Hunter’s Moon is a silky blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes from some of Washington’s top vineyards. This beautifully integrated wine with luscious dark fruits, and expressions of delicate spices and forest herbs is suitable for almost any occasion.
